Volunteer Opportunities Hospice Volunteers are ordinary people doing something extraordinary. They are men and women of all ages, interests and abilities who share a common belief in the principles of hospice and a desire to help patients and families deal with life's greatest challenge. An integral part of the hospice program, volunteers bring the unique gift of themselves to support the patient and family. Through their simple acts of personal caring and concern, hospice volunteers help provide comfort and support to enrich the end-of-life journey. Types of Volunteers
