General Grief Support Group Group meetings are held on the third Monday of each month in the Ogeechee Area Hospice Chapel at 5:30pm. This group is open to anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one.
Widow to Widow Grief Support Network Group meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the Ogeechee Area Hospice Conference Room at 5:30pm. This group is open to all ladies who have experienced the death of a spouse.
Widowers Grief Support Group
Group meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month in the Ogeechee Area Hospice Conference Room at 8:00am. Breakfast is available. Please contact OAH Receptionist @ 764-8441 if you plan to attend. This group is open to all men who have experienced the death of a spouse.
Camp Lily Welle, a Grief and Loss Camp for children ages 6 through 13, is held the first Saturday in May each year. The camp offers a safe environment for young people to express their experience and feelings. Campers learn about the grieving process and discover that some of the things they have felt and wondered about are common to all people who grieve. The camp is funded through community support so there is no cost for children to attend. Parents are welcome.
